Your garage business is running. But what if everyone already owns one of your keychains? That's what the second chapter, Adapt & Grow, is about.
The chapter
You do your first research, add a second printer to the garage and run both at once. Then you discover the Market app, build a product range and ride a trend. Nine objectives later you reach Shop Level 3.
Categories and trends
Every design now belongs to one of seven categories, which you pick when you save a new design. Trends temporarily raise or lower demand in a category, and you get a notification when something changes.
Variety pays
A copy, or a design that overlaps an existing one by 75% or more, counts as a variant, not a new product. The market is tuned a little softer: one product on two printers drops to 53% of demand after a day instead of collapsing at once. With three distinct products you stay above 64%.
Still to do
The numbers come from simulations and automated tests. A real play session has to show whether it feels fun too.
