The first wardrobe worked, but to be honest the clothes looked like loose blocks on a stick figure. This week everything was remade.
Clothes on the skeleton Every garment is now a thin mesh hanging on the same skeleton as the dancer. A sleeve bends with exactly the same elbow as the arm underneath. Around every body sits an invisible "envelope" just outside the skin, and every garment has to stay inside it. That keeps the dancer's neon edge visible and nothing pokes through the fabric.
68 items, all new All 68 items have been rebuilt: street, hip-hop, Latin, pop, funk, fitness, jazz, contemporary, K-Pop, casual and 13 complete costumes. Hats and hoods fold the model's own cap brim away, and when a move puts the hands on the head, they land on the cap instead of going through it. We then checked everything from the back and side as well. The afro is now round and curly, with a hairline over the forehead. The Shop in the main menu opens the Wardrobe with everything you can still buy.
Playable with a controller Every screen can now be played with just a controller: Xbox, PlayStation, Switch Pro or a pair of Joy-Cons. The D-pad or stick jumps to the nearest button, an amber ring shows where you are, and it disappears as soon as you pick up the mouse. The Studio and Move Lab have their own shortcuts on the shoulder buttons. During a performance the four face buttons are rhythm buttons only.
Bonus: The Worm Hip-Hop gets a classic: The Worm. It gets its own devlog later.
