Two chapters in one post, because they belong together.

Chapter 3: Outgrowing Home

Your garage fits at most two printers. With the Business Expansion research you can buy the Eastside Workshop: 16 × 12 metres, room for 6 printers and 12 parking spaces, for €6,000. You buy it at a 'for sale' board in front of the building.

Then comes moving day. You move the printers yourself, pack furniture back into its crate and take everything by van. After that you hire your first employee from three candidates a day. The moment your employee empties a printer on their own for the first time is exactly the feeling we were after.

Chapter 4: The Logistics Problem

More printers means new problems: full storage, no filament, no operator. A new Logistics app shows why each printer stopped: printing, blocked, waiting for an operator, waiting for filament or idle.

You get product racks and filament racks, stock targets and priorities, and a warehouse role. The highlight is The Bulk Order: a large business contract whose size depends on how much you actually print per day. Deliver everything and you're rewarded. Fail and it costs you Reputation.

To be fair

Employees still walk in straight lines, the racks are simple shapes and the balance still has to prove itself in a real playtest. But the road from garage to real business is now in the game.
