Lawnmower Empire comes out on Steam on Tuesday 1 December 2026. To mark the date, here is the release trailer.

One overgrown backyard, one very big lawnmower
The trailer opens with Aunt Roos's rusty push mower making its first stripe through the tall grass. Then it cuts straight to MowZilla on a football field. That is the whole game in two shots: you start small, and the mower keeps getting bigger.
After that you see what happens in between. You mow straight stripes and buy upgrades in the Field Journal. Night falls while the grass grows back, and by morning you face the same lawn with a bigger deck. Your robot fleet takes over the boring laps, every area has its own joke, and in the end you mow cities, the Moon, Mars and the Galactic Lawn.
Aunt Roos and Noor have their say
For the first time in a trailer you hear the characters themselves. Aunt Roos tells you to call her if the grass comes straight back, and Noor explains why your first robot takes the boring lap. The music is "Tiny Empire" from the game's own soundtrack.
